Turner Broadcasting will be attending the ABTA 2015 Expo and Conference in São Paulo, Brazil on 4th to 6th August. Anthony Doyle, Regional Vice-President, and Leonardo Lenz Cesar, Vice President of Business Development from Turner will be covering topics such as the future of the pay-TV industry and the importance of cross-platform content.

On Wednesday 5th August at 10am, Anthony Doyle will participate in a panel called “Programming the Future”, which will discuss the future issues of pay-TV and how to adapt to the new multi-platform revolution. Also at 5pm on the same day, Leonardo Lenz Cesar will be discussing how to deliver content on other screens, ways to monetise content and how to inform TV subscribers about these new services.

Recently, Turner has been focusing more on mobile devices and video on-demand (especially for Cartoon Network), as viewers have changed their habits on how they watch their favourite television shows in the last few years.

New Cartoon Network Programming Block To Air On Chilevision: To Air From January 2016

From January 2016, Chile based broadcaster Chilevision will launch a new programming block called Zona Cartoon (Cartoon Zone), featuring Cartoon Network animated shows such as Adventure Time, Regular Show, The Amazing World of Gumball and Steven Universe. The new programming block will air between 9am and 12pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Chilevision has been owned by Turner Broadcasting System Latin America since 2010.
