Cartoon Network Latin America Buys Rights To Air Masha And The Bear Season Three

Turner Latin America has signed a deal with Russian animation company – Animaccord for the season three broadcasting rights for Masha and the Bear in the region. In Latin America, the show airs on Cartoon Network’s sister channel – Boomerang. Season three of Masha and the Bear was already screened in cinemas in Brazil last year, but the season has yet to air in the country and the wider Latin American region.

Masha and the Bear follows an energetic and friendly young girl named Masha and her more relaxed, responsible father-figure friend – Bear, the show teaches viewers about creativity, loyalty and friendship. The animated series was created by Oleg Kuzovkov and currently airs in more than 100 countries, in the UK, Masha and the Bear airs on Cartoon Network’s sister pre-school channel Cartoonito.

Turner Latin America will be at the El Ojo de Iberoamérica (The Eye of Latin America) advertising festival on 2nd to 4th November 2016 at the Hotel Hilton de Puerto Madero in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Turner Latin America is currently running a creative competition called Ideas del Cajón (Ideas Drawer), where people can submit their creative ideas for branded content, all entrants will be judged by a panel of experts in the TV and advertising industry. The winning entry will air on Turner’s channels in Latin America in the form of a two minute video.
