According to Czech media news blog – rozhlas.cz, the Czech language soundtrack on Cartoon Network Central Eastern Europe is now in its final stages and is projected to launch sometime later this month. The Czech soundtrack was projected to launch on 1st September, but it has been pushed back to ensure enough shows, episodes and presentation have been dubbed in the language. In late August and early September, Cartoon Network CEE aired some presentation in the Czech language on the original language (English) soundtrack for testing purposes.

A HD feed for Cartoon Network CEE in the Czech Republic is planned. Cable operator – UPC Czech Republic won’t be adding the channel until a full Czech soundtrack on Cartoon Network CEE is launched and they also require the channel to be in 16:9 widescreen and in high definition, as it stands presently, Cartoon Network CEE will be added to UPC on Tuesday 26th September. Magio Sat in Slovakia is already promoting the new Czech soundtrack on their social media pages.

A few days ago, a Czech version of the Cartoon Network website launched (http://www.cartoonnetwork.cz), the website already features videos, games and sections for each show.

Also, Turner will be hosting a press conference on Tuesday 19th September to promote Cartoon Network’s full entry into the Czech market, there’s no doubt that more details will be revealed at the conference.

Cartoon Network Central Eastern Europe already broadcasts to the Czech Republic, the country has received the channel in English as the default language (and the pan-European feed before then) ever since it became available in the country. The new Czech audio-track will be joining the existing Hungarian, Romanian and English soundtracks on the channel. Over the past week or so, Cartoon Network CEE has been experimenting with Czech audio on the English audio track, this includes promos, bumpers and general presentation.

A Czech audio test on the English audio track on Cartoon Network CEE (recorded Monday 7th August):

Atmedia will be handling ad sales for the Czech Republic, and Czech ads will air on a separate opt-out during ad breaks. So far, UPC, Freesat and DigiTV have confirmed that they will carry the channel with the Czech audio track. During the past few months, Cartoon Network has commissioned dubbing companies such as the internationally renowned SDI Media to record and dub its cartoons in the Czech language.

Also according to the article on rozhlas.cz, Turner Broadcasting System Europe is planning to launch a HD feed of Cartoon Network CEE, which would also mean a move from the outdated 4:3 aspect ratio to 16:9 widescreen which also puts it inline with the other Cartoon Network feeds in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region, there will be new graphics on the channel soon. A localised Czech version of the Cartoon Network website (cartoonnetwork.cz) and social media pages will launch soon. The Toon Cup 2017 promo airing on Cartoon Network CEE also features the cartoonnetwork.cz website address.
