Adventure Time Wrap Party: A Party To Celebrate The End Of Production Of One Of Cartoon Network’s Greatest Shows
To celebrate the end of production for one of Cartoon Network’s biggest shows over the past decade – Adventure Time, Cartoon Network threw a huge Wrap Party at the Boulevard3 Night Club on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles last night (16/11/2017). The party was a gathering of the voice acting cast and crew from the show and they were united together in celebration for one final time. The whole event was themed on the show, including a replica of Finn and Jake’s treehouse featuring a DJ stage, cocktails inspired by the characters from the show, food based on dishes featured in the show including bacon pancakes, burritos, candy and there was a live band too.
Created by Pendleton Ward and co-produced by Cartoon Network Studios and Frederator Studios – Adventure Time was the one show that kickstarted, influenced and led the television animation renaissance during the past seven years. Loved by kids and adults, the show soon became Cartoon Network’s hottest property with high viewing ratings and winning several Creative Arts Emmys. The show had a plethora of merchandise ranging from T-shirts to soft toys. Globally, the show had mass appeal due to the show’s storytelling which had a lot of potential, its colourful and cute aesthetic, a large cast of memorable characters, its expansive environment, and its mix of comedy and action. For the show’s production crew it may of ended, but for its audience it hasn’t, Finn and Jake’s adventures will continue with new episodes in 2018, there’s still plenty to do in the Land of Ooo, whether it’s protecting Candy Kingdom or solving the mysteries of Ooo.
